Gilberto Antero Botas is a Mechanical Engineering and MBA. From 1989 he worked as the National Director of Training and Professional Education. Worked for Mozal Aluminum Smelter Company as the Superintend Training and Development. In 1999 joined the United Nations Development Program. From 1997 to 2015, National Director of Technical Education. He was a member of the Inter-Ministerial Committee for Natural Gas. From 2015 t0 2018 he was appointed Advisor to the Minister of Science and Technology, Higher Education and Technical and Professional Education. From 2018 to date, is the Chairman of the National Professional Education Authority (ANEP) and Chairman of Field Ready in Mozambique.
