Eugénio Silva, CEO of the Chamber of Mines of Mozambique,  was trained as Mining Engineer in 1986 at the Bergakademie Freiberg in Germany. He served in different public and private institutions, like the Eduardo Mondlane University, The Ministry of Mineral Resources,  Geomoc, Steia, Petromoc, Mozambique Coal Development Association, Zambezi Integrated Development Corridor and Industrial Control. Among different functions and responsibilities, Eugénio Silva was Head of Department of Mining Technology and Economics at the Ministry of Mineral Resources in Mozambique and Business Development Manager at Petromoc, a public oil distributing company.
