Mr. Costel has over 15 years of experience in various roles in the development, social enterprise, impact investing and renewable energy sectors. With comprehensive local knowledge of the Mozambican market, he brings tried and tested experience working in supporting the commercial development of renewable energy projects and businesses in both on-grid and off-grid energy, the development of base-of-pyramid businesses and markets, rural retail and distribution for fast moving consumer goods, leading business development for new ventures. In addition to undertaking a wide range of service provision contracts, Emmett provides direct support and works hand-in-hand with clients and partners across all stages of the project cycle to develop and grow projects, ventures, businesses and investments with a triple-bottom-line. He brings with him valuable experience of strategic and commercial business development in the renewable space in a Mozambican context.

Emmett is currently the Program Manager for the Green People’s Energy Program as part of the the GET.FiT Program in Mozambique.
