Agnaldo Laice is the General Manager of Twigg Exploration & Mining, a subsidiary of Syrah Resources and serves on its Board of Directors.

Agnaldo joined the Syrah Resources in March 2019 as General Manager, Institutional Relations and Corporate Services. In this role, he oversees a wide range of business functions, including Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain & Procurement, Logistics, Information Technology, Legal & Compliance, Corporate Administration and Sustainability. Additionally, he is responsible for Government and Institutional Relations and serves as the chairperson of the Local Development Committee – a committee that manages and implement community development projects and programmes benefiting the local communities in Balama and Cabo Delgado in northern Mozambique.

Agnaldo also serves as Board Member at the Chamber of Mines of Mozambique and as a Non-Executive Board Member at the MozYouth Foundation – a non-for- organization dedicated in youth employability in Mozambique.

Prior to joining Syrah, Agnaldo spent six years with DHL, where he held several leadership positions including Regional Head of Ocean Freight for Sub-Saharan Africa, based in South Africa, as well as Managing Director of DHL Global Forwarding in both Kenya and Mozambique.

Before his tenure at DHL, Agnaldo dedicated nearly 12 years with the Maersk Group where he also held several leadership roles across different jurisdictions. These roles included amongst others, Country Manager of Maersk Line in the Cape Verde Islands, Head of Sales & Marketing for Maersk Line in Mozambique, and CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Damco Mozambique, a division of the Maersk Group.

Throughout his career, Agnaldo has prioritized a commitment to continuous learning and development. As such, he has attended numerous comprehensive leadership programs and executive education courses, including earning an executive programme certification in General Management from the Gordon Institute of Business Science at the University of Pretoria in 2017.
